Saint Patrick's Day Essay
I forwarded information to Mr. Veon today about a Saint Patrick's Day essay writing competition. Research is involved, making this a challenging task for bright learners. There's a grand prize of $1,000.00. If you need information, just ask Mr. Veon.

AP focus
My AP Literature and Composition focus right now is analysis of poetry.
My AP Language and Composition focus is comparison/contrast essays and diction/detail.
My AP Language and Composition focus is comparison/contrast essays and diction/detail.
I loved your update, and I hope that soon others will respond. I have re-checked to see that all 20 AP, Honors, and ELA Administrators were invited to join. They have, and I hope that we will soon read more responses. Most of these teachers are "computer savvy" and should have no trouble with this. They do not have to join to comment. They simply go to the site and post a comment.
Motivational - Quote of the Week
I hope that all AP Teachers and ELA Administrators will give our blog a try. We need your ideas, comments, and shared challenges so that we may better serve the gifted students in Advanced Placement ELA and Honors ELA. To serve as a motivational quote for your students, you might pass along this quote by H. C. Payne:
"It is better to fall short of a high mark than to reach a low one."
